Fair Use Policy

Your plan sets how many pieces Rankshoot writes for each site every month: up to 15 on Starter and up to 30 on Growth. Allowances reset every month on your billing day and unused pieces do not carry over. This page explains the parts of the service that are not counted in pieces, and the fair limits that keep them available to everyone.

Small fixes

Small, targeted improvements — a clearer title or description, a missing link between two of your pages, a short correction — are not counted as pieces. Fair use is up to twice your monthly piece allowance per site (30 on Starter, 60 on Growth). If a site needs more, we contact you to agree what to do; we never stop work on it silently.

Revisions

Each piece includes two rounds of changes after your review. Rounds do not use extra pieces. If a draft is not what you asked for, tell us: when we agree it was off brief, the piece is not counted at all.

Reviewers and members

You can invite the people who review your sites' content. We ask only that accounts belong to real people who review or manage the work.

What is not allowed

To keep the service reliable and lawful for everyone, you may not use Rankshoot to:

• produce content for sites you do not own or are not authorised to manage;
• publish spam, doorway pages, deceptive, defamatory or illegal content, or content that infringes someone else's rights;
• impersonate a person or organisation, or present unreviewed medical, legal or financial content as professional advice;
• probe, overload or work around the security of the service or the plugin.

We may pause work on a site that breaks these rules. We will tell you why, and you can respond before we take further steps.
